This workshop will teach the movements comprising the Butterfly against Empty Hand routine learned by Grand-master Yau from his Grandfather whilst training in Hong Kong.

To attend this course you will need to have graded to Brown Sash as a minimum. Some experience of Butterfly Knife use would be useful, but it is not essential. A knowledge of the other Lau Gar edged weapons routines would be beneficial. The butterfly Knife movements used in the routine will be a very useful preparation to the Butterfly Knife set required for the Fourth Degree Black Sash. The empty hand movements are relevant to other situations, including empty hand and weapon attacks.
