It was so disappointing that we had to cancel the Instructors' Course in November 2024 because there were so many yellow weather warnings, it was best to postpone it and keep everyone safe. This is the re-arranged course.

Description:
Grandmaster Yau and Lau Gar Guardians will take Instructors through the key areas for improvement in the Lau Gar syllabus that have arisen through watching students at gradings and courses that have been run throughout the year. They will also advise on other news and guidance on standards to assist Instructors in coaching students.
Open to all BKFA Instructors, Assistant Instructors or potential instructors.

Additional Details
The training will focus on ‘whole body power’, groups will be set up to work through our fist sets to develop and enhance whole body power. 
We will also be covering feedback on the recent gradings and leading stick drills taken from the sets.
There will be an opportunity to get some coaching on any advanced weapon set of your choice so I would recommend you bring the following weapons:

Brown Sashes – 6ft Stick and knife
1st Degrees – 6ft Stick, knife, and sword
2nd Degrees and above - 6ft Stick, knife, Rat Tail Stick, Spear and any weapon you would like to work through with the Group Lead
Grandmaster Yau will be overseeing the training supported by a Guardian leading each group.
