Anatomy and Physiology
Title: Anatomy and Physiology     Time: 9.00-1.00

Description
Course Objective 
By the end of the course students will be familiar with the 4 main aspects of anatomy and physiology. They will have a better understanding of how their body functions during kung fu training.
Content
Anatomy & Physiology training for Martial Arts Students covers:
Bones & joints, Muscles & Tendons, Organs, Diet & Nutrition.
Tuition
Delivered by a fully qualified teacher.
Certification
A BKFA Anatomy & Physiology Certificate is issued on completion.
BKFA students must have completed the course before undertaking their Black Sash Grading. It is recommended that students seek to attend the course any time from Blue to Brown sash.
Exemption
If a student has a recognised high level qualification such as Degree in Biology or A level biology then a student may be exempt from attendance and only needs to obtain a BKFA certificate signed by the instructor but it is the instructor’s responsibility to ensure that they have the necessary knowledge on the topics listed above.
